Who is this program for?
The Italian Wine Maestro course is ideal for hospitality professionals, retail specialists, importers, distributors, wine buyers, educators, wine journalists/bloggers, and passionate enthusiasts.
Though VIA focuses and believes in a grape variety study approach, ideally, students should come to the Maestro program with a basic understanding of viticulture and winemaking techniques, as this will not be covered in the scope of this course. This knowledge is essential in order to fully grasp the concepts covered during the course. Prior wine certifications may be helpful but are not considered a prerequisite.
