Brunello di Montalcino Masterclass: exploring Montosoli with Capanna

Broadbent Selections and Grappolo Food & Wine School present a special evening with Daniele Marconi, featuring the renowned wines of Capanna.

Capanna is regarded as one of the great estates of Montalcino, located on the northern slopes in the Montosoli "grand cru" subregion. This area is well known for producing Sangiovese wines with tremendous finesse, longevity, and refinement. We'll explore these characteristics as we taste through the Capanna lineup, including a vertical of Brunello from 2017 to 2019, along with special wines such as the Riserva Brunello, Nico Brunello di Montalcino, and the rare, Moscadello di Montalcino—nine wines in total.

Daniele, a native of Montalcino and Capanna’s export manager since 2016, will lead us through an insightful tasting, moderated by Scott Thomas of Grappolo Food & Wine School.

  • Small bites will be offered.

  • Seating is limited - reservations required

  • Location: Birch Road Social Club Highlands - 3845 Lipan St, Denver, CO

  • Cost: $45 (industry discounts available through the generous support of Broadbent Selections - please contact us, or your Maverick rep, for details).

**If you find that you're unable to attend after making a reservation, we sincerely request that you take a moment to cancel it.
